Particles and Health: Environmental Forensic Analysis

Speaker: E. Russell Crutcher, Microlab Northwest
Mr. Crutcher is the owner and Principle Scientist for
Microlab Northwest, an environmental and materials sciences consulting laboratory.
Mr. Crutcher has been analyzing particles and interpreting their significance in the
environment for nearly forty years. Mr. Crutcher’s primary field of interest is in the
extraction of data from particles. A fundamental part of this analysis is an
understanding of the physics of particle migration in an environment. Mr. Crutcher
not only has a background in the theory of particle identification and behavior but
also over 35 years of practical experience. He is a recognized expert witness in
Civil and Criminal courts from the Municipal to the Federal level. He has written
over seventy papers on particle analysis and materials characterization.
